Mental health exercise therapy

Mental health exercise therapy

Learning your whole life is that learning fulfills an important role in our lives. It is generally accepted that learning takes place only when a person is calm, quiet, and concentrated on certain intellectual activity. It is a mystery that the mind and body are separate and that movement has nothing to do with mental abilities. Indeed, simple physical activities, which require little time and do not depend on technical help, can be very helpful to our mental health.

Namely, in order for our brain to learn something, think and conclude it needs other parts of the body that collect information. Research confirms that, regardless of the person's lifetime, motion is activated by certain areas of the brain that are important to learning and thus exploit all the capacities of the body and the mind. More precisely, by aligning parts of the body and the mind, motor skills, concentration, memory, reading, writing, language and mathematical skills are improved, and Mental health improved.

The brain consists of two hemispheres, each of which communicates with the opposite side of the body. The left brain manages the right brain hemisphere, the left hand of the left hemisphere. Information from the left ear goes to the right hemisphere and vice versa. Linking information from one and the other half is a joint work of the brain and other parts of the body. Therefore, exercises that harmonize the work of the body and the brain contribute to your physical and mental well-being. Below are some simple exercises that will help you.

Wiping your fingers

Place the thumb and middle finger of one hand below the key bones and palm the other hand on the stomach . Gently massage the area to the left and right of the chest for two minutes and at the same time massage the stomach with small circular movements at the same time with the middle fingers. Replace hands. Points on the body that touch your thumb and middle finger are located exactly where the arteries that lead blood into the brain are located. By massaging them, relax muscles located around the arteries, thereby increasing the amount of oxygen that comes to your brain and affect the normalization of your blood pressure.

Cross walking

Stand and walk in place alternately by touching the right elbows on the left knee and the left elbows on the right knee . Repeat this exercise for two to three minutes. Cross walking improves learning, memory, reading and body coordination, and with its slower performance improves the Mental health.

Touching the foot

Repeat the same procedure with the left hand. Repeat this exercise for two minutes with a quick rhythm alternately touching your feet with your fingers. In this way you will increase your level of energy and relax the central nervous system.

Repeat the same procedure with your left hand.
